A special thank you – My Homecare Durham

A special thank you.

We were recently given the opportunity to donate tickets for the local circus by a company called Circus Starr which is a not for profit UK circus troupe which tours throughout the country, bringing disadvantaged and disabled children and their family a fun day out. Circus Starr operates a unique Donated Ticket Programme that allows thousands of children to attend free shows thanks to the support of local businesses.

We received some lovely thank you letters from the children who attended the circus here are some of the comments they made:

“Dear Erika and My Homecare Durham, thank you for letting us visit the circus last night, I had the best time EVER”

“My favourite part was the funny man with the potato because he wanted people to kiss him”

“We had a brilliant night and got popcorn, I would love to see it next year”

My Homecare – Durham don’t work with children under the age of 18 however, as a team we decided that this would still be something nice to get involved in, we are so pleased we did.
